Not everyone may see elegance in black and white. But after my experience at G Hotel, I'm beginning to fall in love with the minimalistic elegance of the two basic colors. For my second Beautiful Sunday post, I'll be sharing some black and white interiors that inspired me.
Living Room
The high ceiling, huge windows that provide natural light and the matchstick inspired carpet provided an Asian Oriental feel in this living room.
Except for the side tables, my idea of a perfect living room should have a very comfortable couches.
A white living room complemented by natural light provides a more illusion of space to any room.
Kitchen
Bedroom
If I will have my own place, my room should always have a huge door that leads to a terrace or veranda.
That's it for my second Beautiful Sunday post. How about you? What themes and inspirations do you want to achieve in your own home? I would love to hear them too.
Happy Sunday!
Hi Diane,
ReplyDeletethose are very stylish interiors indeed. In my case I would probably add a couple of colourful cushions ;-)
I agree - the couch has to be really soft and comfy!
Thank you for your kind words on my blog :)
have a wonderful Sunday,
Duni
I love the 5th picture esp. the frames on the wall. :)
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful! I'm joining you for beautiful Sunday, my friend!
ReplyDeleteI love black and white bathrooms, especially with marble. So, so pretty! Although I must say that the kitchen with the black and white tiled floors and subway tile backsplash is simply *to die for*
ReplyDeleteI love black and white theme too. If I'd decorate my own house, I'd probably adopt the colours in our study. Not the living room though 'cause that's public domain hehe. The kids would probably choose something else.
ReplyDeletelove the black and white theme!! all of these pictures are gorgeous... so simple, but elegant!! :)
