The first time I saw the facade of Industriya Marikina, I thought I was seeing a museum that showcases the local shoe industry. Stories from friends made me discover that Industriya is another restaurant that makes Marikina as a reputable food strip in the city.
We went to Industriya not because we wanted to eat. So expect no food photos later. :) We wanted to check the place as venue for a birthday celebration. Yes, a member of the fun fab fam is about to reach a significant milestone before the year ends. We did a little ocular visit so I took the opportunity to capture photos from this very beautiful place.
Point of commendation : They have a very accommodating pool of employees. Customer service is definitely 5 out 5 stars.
These lights welcomed us upon entrance! I'm sure this looks better during night time.
Shame on me, I was never familiar with machines used to make shoes.
The unique menu risographed, creating a real industrial feel
This sofa!!!
And look at these :) In local parlance, this is the hulmahan (mold) used to make shoes
and the view above from this area
And this will be another dream for my dream home :)
The second floor showcases rooms that can be rented for events. We were unable to see the bigger room because of an ongoing event. The other room proved to be better because of this passageway.
This private room can accommodate around 50 persons. I love the retro and vintage atmosphere.
From this room is another passageway to the restaurant's biggest venue
Black + white = elegance
This reminded me of White Space Manila. Although this space is definitely cheaper.
An option for al fresco
Another site that looks better during night time
Even the toilet did not disappoint
