Still writing for the summer of 2019 and the weather remains unbearable. :( In the photo are some of my current favorites. I mentioned many times in this blog my addiction to The Body Shop's Drops of Youth line. The Youth Cream is the best. I'm currently using the Liquid Peel and results are pretty impressive. Yesterday, I bought the eye cream and if resources permit, I might try the facial serum. I'm also enjoying my rose quartz face roller. It claims to be an anti-aging tool, I have yet to prove. :p I'm more than contented with its cooling effect and how it amazingly prevents puffy eyes and eye bags.
Meanwhile, my thoughts lately....
You're one decision away from a totally different life
What used to be a quiet and relaxing summer months became restless. I will always remember this summer as a turning point. My principles were challenged. I was forced to take the shoes of a grown up. I'm grateful for the few friends, who patiently listened and gave the most sensible and heartfelt advices. In the end, I made a dissenting decision. The path I chose is an evident disappointment. I let go of an opportunity that will probably, never happen again. I have my own reasons. Regrets may eventually come along the way. It's part of the process. It's something I have to accept and endure.
For now, this chapter of my life is still hanging in the tree of uncertainty. I wish I got it all figured out. I'll get there and soon enough I know, everything will be better.
Besh, guess what, you're a grown up na. :)
ReplyDeleteIf I may, "So you must not be frightened if a sadness rises up before you larger than any you have ever seen; if a restiveness, like light and cloudshadows, passes over your hands and over all you do. You must think that something is happening with you, that life has not forgotten you, that it holds you in its hand; it will not let you fall. Why do you want to shut out of your life any uneasiness, any miseries, or any depressions? For after all, you do not know what work these conditions are doing inside you (Rainer Maria Rilke, Letters to a Young Poet)."
Everything will get better, that's for sure! :)
ReplyDeletePero yung rose quartz roller talaga ang una kong napansin, hahaha. I have to tell my sister na nakakaprevent pala sya ng puffy eyes and eye bags. She is contemplating getting one kasi, hehe.
Hugs, Diane :) Hang in there, better things are coming your way :)
